Old bald man (OBM): Could that be ... Ju Shin's star?
Dae Jang Ro (DJR): For thousands of years ... if you follow the lore (?) ... On the day King of Ju Shin is born, it is said that Ju Shin's star will shine and the guardian gods' artifacts (?) of the heaven will be awaken also.
OBM: Could that day ... be today?

DJR (in narration): The day Ju Shin's star shines, it said that King Ju Shin will be born.
DJR: When King Ju Shin is born, Chung Rung, Baek Ho, Hyeon Mu, Ju Ja, these four guardian gods' artifacts (?) will be awaken, also.
DJR: The day when the sky shines with the four guardians gods' amulets and swords bloodied, Hwa Cheon's disciples, who spread to the ends of the world, go retrieve your guardian god's artifacts(?).
DJR: Goguryeo, Baekje, Shilla, Malgal, Guhran, now dispersed nation of Ju Shin, run toward them.
DJR: We, Hwa Cheon, must possed the guardian gods' artifacts (?) sent from the heavens.
DJR: Then it will become forever our Hwa Cheon's land. Ha ha ha ha ha.

Zoom into Guhmeul village, where they wait for King Ju Shin while enshrining Hyeon Mu's artifact.

Hyeon Mu's artifact levitates in the middle of the dark well.

Hyeon Su (71st village chief of Guhmul): Dan Deok!
Dan Deok (a disciple): Yes.
Hyeon Su: Make it possible for the disciples of Guhmul village to run to anyway at anytime.
Dan Deok: I understand.

Hyeon Su: Hyeon Wu.
Hyeon Wu (a disciple): Yes, elder teacher.
Hyeon Su: Gather the disciples of the tree and wait for the signal of the bonfire.
Hyeon Wu: Yes, I understand.

Hyeon Su: Today or tommorow, the guardian god's artifacts will awake.
Hyeon Go (One of the young disciples): Then, will Ju Shin King, who has been forseen for thousands of years, be born?
Hyeon Su: That's right.
Hyeon Go: What happens when we find the king?
Hyeon Su: Hyeon Go, follow me and head southward.

Hyeon Su: Only when the bonfire is lit will be know the location for certain but I think two of the guardian god's artifacts are in the land of Baekje.

Hooded horsemen appears out of rock cliff and head toward the brightly shining star of Ju Shin.

Doors open to Goguryeo's temple of heaven.

Priestess: Moon, the moon and a certain star and other stars ... the moon and a certain king and other kings, when they come out it will shine.
Priestess: Before king awaken naturally, the wind will be like the leaves.
Priestess: Those who have heard, hide what you have heard and those who have seen, hide what you have seen.
Priestess: Before he awakes naturally, so not to forget, be cautious and more caution.

Castle Guknae, Yeon Ga Reh's home.

Maid: The labor has started.

At Heuksoo Malgal village ... people crowd around a sword making ceremony.

White haired old man: The light is shining.
Other old man: It still very far till this is done.
White haired old man: The light is shining!

People are murmuring that they too see the light shining.

It is Baek Ho's artifact, shining the light into the place.
It expels a huge fountain of light into the sky, right through the roof.

More riders are seen racing through the countryside.

Narrator: Baek Ho's holy artifact awakened at a major Malgal village. Follow the light rope to Baek Ho's holy artifact and bring it back.

A man runs through the dark to light a signal fire.

Man: Is this Geuma???

He lights the bonfire.

More white clad riders appear and dismount. It is Hyeon Go, Hyeon Mu's retainer.

Hyeon Go: It's the white smoke signal.

Hyeon Su: Is it Baek Ho's holy artifact? Hyeon Jang,
Hyeon Jang: Yes, elder teacher.
Hyeon Su: Go quickly and bring it back.
Hyeon Jang: Yes.

Hyeon Jang takes off with several other riders. Suddenly, Ju Shin's star brightens and smokey halo spread from it.

A baby's cry is heard. The riders approach a rundown house.

The caption announced the birth of Dahm Deok, 375 A.D. Riders dismount and walk toward the cry in the house.

Back at Yeon Geh Ra's house, his wife is still in labor.

Yeon Geh Ra(YGR): It has to be now.

His wife labors away in the golden bathtub and a cry from a baby is heard along with the mother's.

YGR: That's it. That right, it's now. Now must the right time.

More riders gallop through the night. They arrive outside of town with strange light shimmering into the sky.

Narrator: 10000 Hwa Cheon, go to Baekje's Jin fortress and retrieve Chung Ryong's holy artifact.
Narrator: We Hwa Cheon must posses Jung Ryong's holy artifact.

At Baekje's Jin fortress, a volley of fire arrow rain down into the town.
Soldiers stride through the streets slaughtering people left and right.

A masked warrior chases away a little boy. The boy is saved by an older man but he is later wounded.

He and the boy enter a room with light leaking through the door. Then he grabs a box with light shining outward.
He opens to find Chung Ryong's holy artifact and grabs it with his left hand.

Masked warriors rushes to the door of that room and the older man grab the boy.

Old man: I am General Jung Jae who defends the east. I offer my son's heart to you.

And he stabs his song's heart with Chung Ryong's holy artifact, still shimmering with light. He is killed by
one of the masked men while doing this. He collapses while his son kneels and
is identified the caption as Cheo Ro, Chung Ryong's loyal vassal. The artifact disappears into the boy's chest
and the boy is transformed into a tentacle being while the now unmasked men shield their face from the bright light.

The scene changes to the Malgal village where there is more slaughter. A masked warrior stops an old man.

One of the masked men: Where is the holy artifact? Where did you hide it?

He slays the old man when there is no answer. Two men climb the hill over the fire ravaged town below.
One is holding something wrapped in cloth. A women climbs after them.

Son: Father! Father! Aigo father! What is this? Is that why those men come here like that? Aigo, aigo, father!
Daughter: Stop simpering! (while slapping the son's head) Father!
Father: What is it girl?
Mother: Are they doing this because of this???

They all look at each other. Another villager is leading a group of white hooded men.

Villager: It's ... it's over there.

The daughter and father scramble through the forest while throwing star pierce the night air striking trees.
Men in red masks are pursuing them. The father is finally struck in the back with a throwing star.
Father tumbles down the ravine with his daughter following him.

Daughter: Father?

She drags him next to a tree and waits. A fog rolls in through the woods and white hooded men appear in the midst.
She tries to yelp out but the leader signals her to be quiet. They surround her and the leader and his men produce a golden object
that floats in the air and casts an illusion around them. The red masked men arrive only see a deep valley surrounded by mountains.
The red masked men turn back.

Daughter: Ah whew.
Leader: Are you guarding the holy artifact? We are from Goguyreo's Guh Mul Village and Hyeon Mu's people.
Leader: We came to receive Baek Ho's holy artifact. We cannot maintain the fog for long ... please hand over Baek Ho's holy artifact.

The father laughs and cries in pain at the same time.

Daughter: Are you alright? Father, this is blood!
Father: I've guard it. Now it's that guy (his son's) turn.

Father stoops his head and dies.

Daughter: Father? Father? Ehi, Father??

The leader of the white hooded men unwrap the package the father was holding only to find the wooden box empty.
The son is shown runs through forest the Baek Ho's holy artifact glowing in his backsack.

Father: I don't know why but you must guard this. Then one day, the owner will come to reclaim it.
Son: Then where should I wait for the owner? What does the owner's face look like?
Father: I don't know! If it is the real owner, they will come chasing no matter where. So run to the
Father: to the end of the earth and don't give to anyone who's not the owner.
Father: Don't know why but they said that's what you have to do!

The son scrambles away and the hooves of galloping horses are seen.

Narrator: They said Ju Jak's holy artifact awoke at Baekje's Sabi castle. Hwa Cheon's main force will go to Sabi castle.
Narrator: Ju Jak's holy artifact is the strength of the earth. It must be possessed by Hwa Cheon.

At Baekje's Sabi Castle, more slaughter ensues. A man is dragged out his house and made to kneel in the courtyard.

Red masked men: The blue of Ju Jak definitely emanated from this house, where is it??

The man falls to his death without saying anything. A woman carries a baby into a storage building with another child.

Mother: Gi Ha, this baby is your younger sister and you’re her older sister.
Mother: You, the older sister, whatever happens, you must protect your younger sister well.
Mother: You can do it, can't you?

The girl nods her head and mother hand her the baby. And takes the emulate around her neck and hands it the girl. It the heart fire emulate, which is
holy artifact of Ju Jak. Suddenly, some people are trying to force their way into the building. Mother hides the daughter
in a tiny bin.

Daughter: Mommy. Mommy.

Mother closes the bin as her daughter looks upon with sadness. She is confronted by two masked men is slain immediately.
Mother peeks through the crack to say good bye to her daughter without a word. The men search first then set the place on fire.
More buildings are lit on fire. The daughter remembers her mom's voice in her head.

Mother: Gi Ha, This baby is your younger sister and you are this baby's older sister.
Mother: You, the older sister, must protect your younger sister well no matter what happens.

The girl is identified by the caption as Gi Ha, Ju Jak's retainer.

Mother: You can do it, can't you?

Gi Ha fall unconscious in the burning building but Ju Jak's holy artifact comes to life to protect her.
Suddenly, a bubble spreads out around her and kills the fire and knocks several of the red masked men standing.
Other red masked men enter the building and find Gi Ha wearing the heart of fire emulate.

White hooded men arrive at the aftermath of the carnage. It is Hyeon Su and his men.

Hyeon Su: I did not know they would be so fast. That they would have spread into so deep into Baekje's land.
Disciple: Baekje's troop will arrive soon, we should flee before we are framed.

A baby cries out in the smoldering ruins.

Hyeon Go: Elder teacher, do you hear that?

They enter the burnt out building which is source of the cry. They discover the baby in a wooden barrel.
The baby has a flame like red marking on her forehead.

The scene changes to Guh Mul village where the disciples in white robes gather around the baby.

Disciple: The dark mark was of Ju Jak.
Hyeon Go: Now we cannot see it anymore! Look at it, it is clean.
Disciple: Master!
Hyeon Su: Hyeon Go.
Hyeon Go: Yes?
Hyeon Su: Kill the child.
Hyeon Go: Why?
Hyeon Su: This is not working. We cannot allow the black Ju Jak to burn the world again.
Hyeon Go: This child ...
Hyeon Su: We have to kill it to protect the world.
Hyeon Go: How do you know it was the black marking of Ju Jak or not?
Disciple: You saw it too, the black marking of Ju Jak!
Hyeon Go: It wasn't black!
Hyeon Su: Hyeon Go!
Hyeon Go: It was scarlet! That's the truth. That is what I saw, you must have mistaken because of the smoke.
